Is it possible your phone is just logged out of your icloud account? If 
you go to settings, at the very top should be your name and picture (if 
you've given that to Apple) . Click on that, and you should see a whole 
bunch of stuff, including "icloud", which should show how much icloud 
storage you have. If you're not logged in, there should be a way to log 
back in.
