Bob,

The basic difference between COVID and Climate Change is that:

 with COVID-19 there was a causative agent and a direct and causal response
-- even if the details are still a bit in doubt [e.g. when did it start and
how did it spread so quickly]

In the case of the Hyped hypothetical catastrophic climate change [e.g. at
one time we had to worry about anything exceeding 250 ppm for CO2, now we
are equal;ly as worried about 400 ppm CO2]  -- Fundamentally though there
is nothing at all concrete to base our fear on -- its all about dueling
computer models -- ultimately subject to the great maxim of Computer
Science -- "Garbage in => Garbage out"
