[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Internet Speed Question

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather🤓

With providers like Comcast, it is my understanding that more subscribers on a junction box, causes the speed to go down for each subscriber. Not sure if that is still true. 

I have Comcast triple play with a tv speed internet. The last time that I saw that speed was maybe two years ago or more.  So I complained big time in November and they checked and eventually replaced the wire from the junstikn box to the box outside the house. I was traveling December and got home last weekend. And it all worked. Not much speed change though. 

So I was wondering if additional subscribers would have reduced the speed. Or what other causes would reduce the speed?

This is the speed from the junction box to the box outside the house. So nothing to do with my devices.
