All,

I didn't ask about Apple, but if you have Android with the right
hardware and software your phone will auto-detect nearby Auracast
broadcasts. I've highlighted the required devices and software.

Google has integrated Auracast support into its Android ecosystem,
particularly with devices running *Android 15* and above. For example,
*Pixel 9* devices and *Samsung Galaxy devices with One UI 7 *can connect
to Auracast broadcasts. Some features, like using QR codes to connect to
broadcasts, make it easier to tune in without navigating through settings.

While there isn't a specific app solely for detecting Auracast
proximity, Android's built-in support for Auracast allows compatible
devices to connect seamlessly to broadcasts in public or private
spaces If you're using a compatible device, you should be able to access
these features directly through your system settings or notifications.

Auracast technology is gaining traction in public locations like
airports, gyms, and museums. You can explore more about its applications
and supported venues on the Bluetooth website
<https://www.bluetooth.com/auracast/public-locations/> or check out
Google's initiative to help users find Auracast-enabled places here

If you're curious about how Auracast works, this guide

detailed explanation.
