Thanks for the additional info on Auracast. Today, I would not buy HA's without ability to utilize Auracast.
Also, I was at COSTCO Waltham and here is what they offer in the store.

at this morning's meeting we learned about a new hearing aid technology called auracast. I did an AI lookup in Copilot about this technology and here is what it had to say.

It's actually a technology that I'm looking forward to. I don't need it now but when it becomes fully available everywhere I might.

Essentially this is a new Bluetooth upgraded technology that allows a device like a TV to broadcast throughout your house up to 320 ft and anybody in the house wearing compatible hearing aids can tune into the TV.

Copilot uses a train station as an example. Train stations can be very noisy, and it can be difficult for everybody to hear the information about what trains are coming and going. It would be great if you're hearing aids could tap into a broadcast and hear all the train announcements without having to pair their hearing aids with anything.

It's all about not having to pair the way that you do today and also how many devices can be connected to the system at the same time.
