[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Would you recommend an upgrade to MacOS Tahoe?

I am running the latest MacOS on an M1 MacBook. The risk of not
upgrading the OS to the latest is that Apple stops shipping security
updates for older versions. I think they usually keep updating the
previous version for a while and every once in a while, you may get a
security update on an earlier version, but just like with iOS, sometimes
there are vulnerabilities that are only fixed if you are on the latest
OS. I think that is a very important factor to consider.
As for compatibility with older apps, it is a concern. I have a really
old MS Office installed that I keep just in case, but rarely use it. It
does work fine when I do use it. I can't speak about other applications
like Photoshop and MATLAB, but there is a good chance it will still
work.... but don't hold me to that :-)
