PDFSAM for Windows. I use the Basic Version, but there are additional features in the Full Version and the Paid Version. Basic is free, and I use it all the time. For a book the paid version may be more powerful.
For the half-dozen other Linux users in all the world (joking!) this program is also available free for Linux.
Also available for Linux (don't know about Windows) is PDF Arranger, which I think I got through the Synaptic Package Manager. PDF Shuffler is very basic and limited. Also probably available in most Linux package managers.

Evie
I would be interested in getting good recommendation on how to combine (merge PDF files into a single file. I am writing a book with a number of chapters, each on a different file, now I want to combine them.
Thanks
George

Subject: [Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Microsoft Store "Merge PDF Free"
Has anyone used this PDF merge software? Any good/bad experience?
I downloaded from MSFT Store and launched the app, but I'm not sure if this is a Microsoft approved app.
Any suggestions of any other PDF merger applications on PC platforms you can recommend?
Thanks
Evie
