Mike,
I urge you to either call or chat with Apple or visit them at their store
in the Burlington Mall.  Today wouldn't be too soon.

The https://support.apple.com/contact page on the Apple site lets you
access "Billing and subscriptions"; look there, and from that page you can
contact them by live Chat or a live Call.

You should also check your credit card records to see when your most recent
$.99 payment was made.
