Sine you received this as an email and not a notification on your phone
there’s a good chance this is a scam, trying to get you to click on one of
the links in the email and give them your password.
I would go into Settings, click on your Apple ID then iCloud to see how
much storage you are actually using. If it’s still well below 50gb then
that reinforces the theory. Just delete the email.
If you already clicked on the link in the email, then change your iCloud
password immediately.
On the other hand if your storage really is full, that same screen will let
you see what’s using all the space and you can decide what to do from
there.
iCloud+ is a legitimate thing…they rebranded paid plans a while ago and
bundled some other services into it (
